I bought this record when it came out in 81; and I catched a cold with fever, but I listen to this over and over again that evening :)

@bobqualye1 U can't possibly have this music in a vinyl from 76 cause it came out in 81, it probably was played for the first time in 79 but released couple years later... so... you probably grew up on pot... which is cool too.

Unfortunately I stopped following David Byrne after the talking heads.
Fortunately I have rediscovered this incredible talent!

I enjoyed Psiklon's review of this where it was stated :""A brilliant sampling phenomena, a remarkable feat of sonic engineering!""

WALL STREET!
As a college radio dj, I remember pulling out the vinyl, and on it was taped a BAD REVIEW! Someone then taped on a rejoinder, something like, WTF? This is a fucking brilliant slab! Where is your head? Played it, over and over, in the middle of the night, with hopefully one lone soul listening on the the other end of the ether.
