@91Tribual Civilians are natural casualties of war. The Soviets and Germans killed way more civilians than the U.S. ever did. Germans not only had the Holocaust but they killed Russian and Polish civilians as well and killed British civilians with V1 and V2 rockets. The Soviets lost roughly 13 million civilians mostly due to the Germans. The Soviets had a hell of a time exacting revenge on German civilians in Berlin.

As a Chinese person, I think China should drop its grievings against Japan and learn from the Japanese warrior ways so that one day when war inevitably occurs between the US and China, China can fight with the same bravery that the Japanese did. I believe that with China's large size and population, if Chinese soldiers were to fight with all the spirit that the Japanese did, we could overwhelm the USA. Though it won't be easy...

@91Tribual Nope, your actually wrong. They thought this bombing before all of it. They predicted that their wouldve been 10x more civilian casualties by invading Japan. So their 2nd resort was to bomb them, less casualties, also to show that the US is not to be messed with.
