In Splatterhouse 3, the reprocussions of breaking the seal come back to haunt Rick once more, as the evil one is back trying to use David (his and Jen's Son) to get this gem. David has psychic powers. Rick stops them with the help of the mask one final time, and then the Mask reveals it's intentions all alone. The whole time it used Rick to get rid of it's enemies and Rick and the Mask battle it out in his subconscious. The Mask dies in the end of Splatterhouse 3

You kill Jennifer in Level 5. She turns into a monster and you have to kill her. She says Thank You,Good Bye and dies. Rick destroys the uterus and the house burns down. Jen dies.
In Splatterhouse 2 takes place 3 months after, the Mask tells Rick that he can bring her back to life by finding the hidden house, so Rick goes back to the ruins of the Mansion and finds West's lab. There is a portal the Mask opens, he breaks Jen out breaking the forbidden seal. House sinks into lake.

Only because the hardware couldn't handle it. The PC engine version is exactly the same except for a few minor differences.

Back in the good 'ole days. Back when Arcades were everywhere, and game were difficult so you'd spend a shite-ton of quarters.

@haloreach111 instead of the 2D, you get the 3D animations.
-
@makakixtli the sound when Rick gets hit is horrible! And instead if the white terror mask, you get the red version of it!

@mclockwork777 Neither. She turned into a monster and he killed her. Then in the sequel went to hell and rescued her somehow.
-
Did he save his girlfriend? Or was she trapped in the house fire?

The music is better in some areas, like 'The saint comes marching in' and 'The Ballad of Captain Mozzaralla'.
