This is the motorcade of Senator Obama voting on Election Day 2008 and President Obama's return to Woodlawn Avenue in Hyde Park Chicago Feb 2009.

The latter was a low-level excursion, no flags, motorcycles, or fanfare. My son and I waited a couple of hours by the route turn, by uniformed Chicago Police, to gain position for the videography. The President was playing basketball at a Sunday morning workout in Ida Noyse Hall at the University of Chicago. Woodlawn Avenue was 'cleared' of parked cars, relocated on side streets by a battalion of City of Chicago tow trucks. Secret Service were everywhere!
