As soon as you see this, you are going to wish you've seen such an epic lashup with no GEs in sight, FURX & BNSF SDs and road switchers in the lashup all behind a Norfolk Southern SD70M-2! You can't find lashups like that anymore at this time. This is a southbound BNSF Everett to Vancouver, WA manifest stopping at Kelso for the crew to pickup food from a Mexican restaurant nearby and NS #2724 is leading. And then got it highballing with it's Thoroughbred power and flashing ditchlights. It's always good to see 'The Future of Transportation' in Kelso, Washington.

  • what an awesome power house!!! what was that BNSF loco? the 1812?

  • Yep, BNSF 1812, it is a TEBC6.

  • Great video!

  • Thanks!!

  • That is a great consist, not just for the NS SD70M-2, but also the FURX silver & green SD40-2, a pre dash-2 SD40 (6312) and the BNSF yard slug and its master. What an amazing catch. For the record though, there are no Geeps (GPs) there. GPs are 4-axle units. All these EMDs are SDs.

  • I'll have to change the description on that, thanks for reminding me on that.

  • Oh my gosh, HOW DID YOU FIND SUCH AN AWESOME LASHUP! the best thing i ever saw was an amtrack cascades being lead by a BNSF C44-9W.

  • Odd but nice sounding K5LLA to boot!

  • That 1812 6 axle switcher looks odd. Never seen these type of switchers operate in a rail yard. Instead they use them for normal operations but very rare.

  • Thats what I havent seen since 2008. An incredible lashup like this. With SD units and odd looking 6 axle switchers. And whatever happend to SD40-2's my favorite motors.

  • Awesome catch 5***** and favorite.

  • OK Holy Crap! That was AWESOME!!!
