  • @winnlamp Haha, no kidding, man.

  • ARE YOU ON SPEED DUDE, SPEED YOU KNOW SPEED

  • What type of mac are you using?

  • Is this unit compatable with Adobe Audition?

  • @blackbike1200 that crackle every 20 seconds is usually a clocking problem with the recording software. try to reset it and that should fix it.

  • I bought an io/26 a few years ago to record drums.

Every recording has a loud crackle every 20 seconds.

No one at Alesis gave a fuck.

They never answered any calls or e-mails.

The piece of shit is sitting at the bottom of a closet after an hour and a half of use.

  • Thanks for feedback flotopo!

I'm using M-audio Fast Track Ultra for now, it's got 4 mic ins + 2 additional instrument in's, but I wanted to get something with more mic's later. I'll give this unit a shot.

  • Hi emilxt,

I have had this audio interface for a little more than 2 years now and it is amazing on every aspect. As far as the latency, it can go as low as 1 milisecond and something without any issues, so u shouldn't worry about that. The preamps have a lot of headroom and and good dynamic and are very transparent -no coloration of the sound. In my opinion it is still the best price-quality and price-features deal u cand get out there. Just take a deeper look at it and u'll see!
