The Northwestern University Marching Band (NUMB) performed at halftime of the Northwestern University vs. Wisconsin University football game, November 21, 2009. NUMB closed the season with the traditional end-of-year performance of "March of the Steelmen," and "The Old Plus-Four" drill. Thank you to all of our fans for a fantastic season, and we'll see you at the bowl game!
Director of the "Wildcat" Marching Band is Daniel J. Farris. NUMB is led on the field by Drum Majors David Saad and William Borges. Percussion captain is Josh McComas, instructed by Chris Riggs. Featured Twirler is Lauren Maginity. Color Guard Captain is Lynnanne Nguyen, instructed by Andy Toth. Northwestern University Director of Bands is Dr. Mallory Thompson. NUMB graduate assistant is Ben Chamberlain. Graduate Assistants are Roderick Cox, Thomas Gamboa, Bill Staub, and Owen Tucker. NUMB is presented by the Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, Tony-Marie Montgomery, Dean.

"March of the Steelmen" is very dear to us in NUMB. For decades, it's been our home season closer. Same music, same drill for generations. It's also the only halftime show we chair step in. Thanks for listening! GO 'CATS!
