@nathan9384 The F-22, although very technologicaly advanced, it was a failure because it had a very high cost and no role in the battlefield. The USAF never had a problem to maintain air superiority in the battlefield even with the older and much cheaper aircraft by using AWACS control and BVR missiles. Besides, the stealth capability is not very importand for a pure fighter as it is for a bomber. I realy wonder why the US ordered such an advanced aircraft as a pure interceptor...

@polygamous1 Good job referencing an MSNBC report, where the person who put up the video only approves comments that agree with the report. Almost everything that was said was a flat out lie for a dumb woman who knows nothing about planes. If you want me to pick apart her "story" I will. What the F-22 is an example of is how the bureaucracy of our government destroys everything it touches. STOP acting like you have to be a republican or a democrat, its the Fed that is destroying this country.

@SuperiorHuns How about an American that is informed and quite smart? I know that seems like a paradox but there are some of us, and the reason it was cancelling is because the government is too busy trying to spend more money than we have to put everybody on welfare and medicare so they can get voted in again by those people. The F-22 is near-perfect by all standards except cost. You should pay attention to the president, he lies so much you should probably believe the opposite of what he says.

@sergynkov F-35 isn't meant to outperform as its supposed to cheap and easy to maintain. And pretty much nothing can best an F-22 because you can't see in on radar, and usually not on thermal either.
