@phahq hrm, 11.1 I think and11.11 CAP 2, p.s. 6990 isnt a single card ;) dual gpu

Hey, alex, how is the micro-stuttering with the 6990? How many fps with everything ultra and FSAA on do you get, at what clocks?

@phahq have noticed some, but only when there is a large amount of particle work being done (smoke and explosions with night vision especially), but only noticable on play back, in-game too much attention is gated to playing so you dont notice. I get around 70-110 fps on the standard clocks for the 'OC' bios depending on what is happening. This is higher than most, I attribute that to the cpu doing some post-processing?

Thanks! But the 6990 IS a single card. It's just not single gpu. I'd rather go with a 6990 instead of 2x 6970 because i'd have to pay for 2 blocks and 2 backplates instead of 1...

Alright, thanks! I really don't need micro-stuttering (i'm going 6990 instead of 580sli in order to save money for the 7xxx/6xx series), as i'm very sensitive to it and to low fps, but single cards won't really cut it with this game. It'll have to do it till jan/feb. Cheers!
