Losers of The Day: Cleveland Browns WR Donte Stallworth and Miami Dade Prosecutor Kathleen Fernandez Rundle. Stallworth gets only 30 days for hitting and killing an innocent bystander while drunk driving. Rundle justifies this because Stallworth settles monetarily. Since when do Civil Suits give precedent to Criminal charges and the obligation of Justice?

2 years house arrest, 7 years probation, license suspended forever. Not exactly 30 days. There's plenty of people who drove drunk and get a 6 month license suspension, but they were never unlucky enough to have a guy run out in front of them.

Agreed. He probably would have hit this guy if he was sober. The guy ran across a divided highway at midnight. It just happened to the wrong guy at the wrong time. Although Stallworth probably drove drunk on more than one occasion.

Wow! How freakin' scary is that? Too many drinks in you; you get behind the wheel; someone steps out in front of you and it's like you wake up in a bad dream. One guy dead. Your life semi-ruined. Wow! What a nightmare. And did you hear he flashed his headlights at the pedestrian to warn him? What was up with that? How about flashing your brake lights maybe. See, this is why I quit... that type of risky behavior.
