Funny Luther, I was just thinking the other day about whether or not I could convince you to sell these measuring devices ;)

I built one myself but had trouble finding the 1 1/2" thinwall PVC locally. This meant I had to put together a smaller diameter measuring device. It worked well but boy is it tall! LOL

Yes, I too am noticing now that a 1000 ml size is pretty tall when extended. :)

When it gets that tall, you will want to make sure that it is plumb or it will have a tendency to fall over when in use. So be careful with it.

That was one of the things I would have like to done differently with this device. If I could have doubled the diameter of all the tubes, it would have reduced the total hight required by 2.

Oh well. Maybe next time. The trick is finding the materials.
