Some demented part of me wants SO badly to see someone doing this terrible exercise and failing spectacularly. You would be hard pressed to come up with a more useless and dangerous exercise.

@olymsailor83 you need lots of training with the bosu to keep steady. He has probably used the ball dozens of times.

@olymsailor83 its practise mate after about half a dozen goes your body will adapt, everybody suffers at first

Excellent squatting your core will be rock hard doing it with a bosu ball, i do a variation of this exercise with heavy dumbells my balance and core are so much stronger not to mention the Quads

This is a great exercise. A slight variation of this is overhead squats on a bosu ball. You'd obviously want a little (or a lot) less weight than this but works some other stabilizers and gives your core a better work out.
I've heard 500 so with my weight plus the 225 that's bordering pretty close - the highest I've gone is 275lb.
