Less than an hour for 22 rows. 11 on top and 11 on bottom. The rows are 30' long.
On the top you can easily see from the left. onions, garlic, peas and 2 rows of corn. We started the corn in our greenhouse a few months back. With the cooler weather and rain, it hasn't grown real tall. It has tassles and corn starting to grow. Average day of last frost here is around May 20 - June 1. Today is June 29th so doing well based on the calendar.
The bottom, from the left. More garlic and brocolli, carrots, lettuce and spinach, potatoes, edamame (soy beans), beans, tomatoes and last squash.
You can see water running down some of the rows.
Last year I had it down to 20 minutes to row. This year, I'm still tweaking things and ran it a little slower and it took about 50 minutes.
The potatoes and lettuces have done very well. We actually have been eating lettuce for over a month now.
I just use a simple plastic bag and rubber band to close the rows with a 24" long 2" round pipe.
You can see me opening and closing them. Also, the rows seep through the dirt sometimes so I make minor fixes as the water soaks the row.
Compare how things have grown for one month against my other video when I was tilling a row. Big difference for 30 days.
Enjoy the show.
