Does anyone have any more information about this cartoon. I spent over an hour "Googleling" and couldn't come up with even a release date for the thing. While I'm no Google whiz, I'm not (usually) quite THAT incompetent.
The only clue I have, other than the date of Hachiko's passing, comes from a Japanese friend who remembers seeing the cartoon about the time she entered Jr. high; say 1972 or 1973. Which only narrows it down its release to somewhere between 1935 and the early '70s.
