Dr. John King, the country's youngest education commissioner, is leading an ambitious reform agenda to transform K-12 education for New York's 3.1 million school students. This event, sponsored by the Social Enterprise Program and the Social Enterprise Club at Columbia Business School and the Center for Public Research and Leadership at Columbia Law School, focused on the tremendous opportunities and challenges in reforming New York's public education system and the need for dynamic professionals committed to education innovation and reform to join his leadership team. Dr. King is introduced by Laura Smith, an adjunct professor of social enterprise at Columbia Business School.
