@2AllDay8 actually the reason we traded KG is because he had the option to leave to free agency the next season if we didn't increase his salary. And we didn't have the money to increase his salary. So instead of just letting him walk away from us and getting stuck with nothing, we traded him so we at least got some assets out of him leaving Minnesota. Even if we didn't trade him, he was planning on leaving MN the following year anyway.

I see all these videos and everyone says the same thing, we should have kept Kevin Garnett. We had to trade him. 1). His age was getting up there. 2). He wanted a ring. We came close in 04 but that did not work out. He gave his all for this team and we could never find the right people to put around him (McFail). 3). At some time you must rebuild ( within the next year or two watch the Spurs, every single one of there big three is either old or has injury problems).
