  • what size & kind?????????????

  • RedneckMike I sure hope you have a good concrete base foundation for that antenna buried under the soil because I don't see any way that antenna is anchored down. At least get some guy wires if you don't already have some.

  • its 30 in in the ground 2 big metal brackets on the roof'concreat holds water and creats rust.i was told dont use it.

  • Here's the bottom of a Rohn 25 after being buried in dirt for about 5 years: earl.cc/ham/kcp_tower_remove_rust-800.jpg

  • You were told wrong about not using concrete. It doesn't hold water if you dig below the frost line, have plenty of gravel in the bottom for drainage, keep the ends open in the gravel so that they can drain, and make sure the top of the concrete can drain. These things really rust badly if buried in dirt.

  • I got my Palomar 450 HD from UFOamp dot com

  • I got my Palomar 450 HD from UFOamp.com

  • @fishin25530 Thank you kindly partner! I've actually moved my base to a new shop that stands so tall that all I had to do was go out on the roof and put my antenna on a pole. I do appreciate your time and help.
