@aPMism No way, she has gotten better and better and her latest Baruch/Brahms is the best playing i've ever heard. I actually didn't know she was a prodigy when i first heard her, i was just blown away at big and deep her sound was, impeccable phrasing. I will agree with you she hasn't reached her potential, but she's still improving.

She's a great violinist now, but seeing her this good at such a young age - child prodigy or not - makes me feel like she never really reached her potential. I just don't enjoy her playing on a technical and musical level as much as certain other performers. She's still a world class violinist though - just my opinion.

Yes, truly amazing, her technique appears to be fully developed at 10yrs old.
Checkout her playing Chopin's Nocturne (Milstein) from this same concert. Truly beautiful!!
