@Mrthiennnn Problem is you CANT reliably TUNE a car with an open AND a closed muffler. You end up with a compromise on both OR a big risk on one or the other........

@Brettmiddleton Understood, but for someone who wishes to have a varex to keep the exhaust quite when needed but usually has it open, would it cause damage to the vehicle if it's set on CLOSED and driven around for 30minutes-1hr?

@Mrthiennnn it all depends on HOW its driven and HOW its tuned. I am yet to find an owner with a varex that drives it in a reliable way. Every one always risks damage at one time or another
