TocTuning didn't film this, it is a short clip from a LOOOOOONG video. Some guys wanted to ride so the big boys decided to let the pack tag along. From what is understood, nobody with the filming guys knew the other crew that was with the dude that crashed. It was two diffrent groups that ended up hooking up and riding out together and when it came time to corner or brake, the rider of the R6 took a digger at about 70-90mph. Some said it was about 70mph, others said they were in excess of 110 trying to catch back up. Nobody is sure how fast the R1 was going when he low sided and went into the tree's, nobody is sure how badly injured the rider was, this is the only footage and I don't know any more about it. Sorry.

The corner it happened on is scary tight if you take it wrong, but if you take it right, it throws you up the hill so fast your in disbelief that you can take a corner like that going so fast. Many years Toc and Grimm played on that exact road, many times we ran wide on that exact corner. But never got bitten.

Before you start saying who did what and why it went wrong, just understand you and I were not there, we were not part of this, the bike is not ours, and any number of circumstances could have caused this on top of a lack of rider skill. Think before you comment please!

  • nnnooooo it was a first gen r6... wwwwhhhhhyyyy!!!! not many of them on the road and i love mine.

Yeah, it happens. Sad enough it is the fuck-wit owners that destroy the community and cult following of such machines as the 1st gen Bandit 1200 and the 1st gen R6. As a friend said over on a motorcycle forum I am part of "Anything that can go 150mph but has to be held up with a stick when stationary, is bound to fall over.".

On the other hand, if you want to see a full naked track prep, check out my video called "Toc and R666". Pure sound, beautiful, naked, early model R6. ;)

What I was trying to say is, the 1st gen R6's are becoming an endangered species due to some fool convincing themselves it's a great first bike and that once they can go, stop, and do a mediocre turn, they go out with the faster guys and find out in a huge hurry they are totally incapable of negotiating even the most parlor of corners at speed. I have a deep disgust for people who can't take the time to be an efficient, well mannered rider before learning the hooliganism.

  • 'yeah man these guys called us out and were hating on us' what a retard.. its not a biker boyz film hahaha

  • @mark675 lol, from what I know, none of the original group that got called out, rides the street anymore. Or the track for that matter. This video is a perfect summary of why I don't group ride. Also had another rider buddy tell me about a nearly exact indecent happening in a group ride he was on a few months ago... with a newer R6. I swear there is no hope for the general population of sportbike enthusiasts. The few of us that do deserve to be on such machines don't care for that sorta shit.

  • i was here. i was in front of vid bike. the 2 groups were my buddy and i, the rest were them. we road a night prev to this and them guys were hating on us and called us out. so we went out. they say they could ride better than us... u tell me. they say riding on the track does not improve skill.. i laugh at that ha ha.. they still hate us. i laugh at that also ha ha... the rider was not injured othere than scrapes and bruses and yes his nike's held up just fine... the bike is actually an
