Was that on the R1 Setting of the GoPro? Looks good.

Have the Greatplains build video for the 2180. Yours sounds soo much better than the Rotax 2-cycle. Don't think I'll even put the 582 in front. May just go straight to the GP vw engine.
Their crank shaft output bearing looks like it would give a lot more support.
Is that where you got your cowling?
Did you have them assemble it?

Great Video Papipilot! Nice choice of music too! You really handle your kitfox well. You wear it like a glove. Thats how I am in my plane as well now. I guess you are still happy with the VW engine? Keep them coming! Thanks

can't go wrong with great plains youre right the bearings and everything they've done to those engines is great get the firewall forward from steve at great plains love the engine I built mine but would have rather bought already built

thanks for the kind words - and yes the VW is and has been great!!! 1000 FPM climb and 70/80 MPH cruise at barely 60% power - great sound too! not as good as a Rotax but half the cost!
