RD

Her name is RD, but many of you already know her on twitter as @lostawareness [http://twitter.com/lostawareness]. I first met RD this summer while I was traveling the country through this tweet http://twitter.com/#!/lostawareness/status/20040745657. Because most of my homeless services contacts are in Los Angeles I was able to help RD rather quickly. I wish they all worked out that way.

Unfortunately, RD is still homeless. She now has disability income but that is not enough to afford adequate housing.

Please watch this powerful interview and share with everyone you know. She is facing the biggest crisis in her life with a positive attitude. Rd is an encouragement to many.

hey, i have a good idea, Mark, when u see an intelligent homeless person, use this video not just shed light on the invisible side of homelessness, but as a resume, an interview, an asset for the homeless person so they can share this with potential employers, i'd hire this woman, need i remind everyone about the golden radio voice homeless man guy :)

@HappyHooker83 Hi HH. No not because she is a strong female. I have nothing against strong females. I guess some personality types just don't mix. Or maybe I just need to get to know her. Regardless of whether or not I like her I still hope the best for her. As for my Mom she is most likely stronger than anyone you probably know. She survived the Nazi death camps. BTW I subscribed to this channel because I care about people. Homeless and other wise. Have a nice day.

Yeah, She gets on my nerves as well because she's wired too tight. I wouldn't get along with her but am very surprised to see she is jobless and homeless. I hope she gets back on her feet again and this becomes a distant memory.
