  • I love this movie and song

  • My brother and I used to go and see this at the Parkway Theater in Chicago in the late seventies.....it fucking rocked and we loved it ......I was barely te years old and undrstood the whole thing.

  • most people miss the moment near the end when harold and maud are sidding gazing out to see...harold notices some numbers tatooed on mauds arm and asks about them she bruses him off with a iit dosent matter remark...but it does matter it is the reason for her force of nature spirit...and her decicion to die at 80.....beautyful movie...

  • So many messages in this film.....in things said, unsaid and in the visuals...greatest movie ever made.

  • Having Cat Stevens provide the soundtrack was an inspired choice.

  • Some friends and I followed this movie around various theaters in the Chicago area. It was well before home videos. We snuck a small tape recorder into one just to have the soundtracks, dialogue plus the GREAT Cat Stevens music. Sooo much to like about the movie. A young man with plenty of money, but no joy or purpose in life learns that LOVE is why we're all here; he goes from dark to light. Thank you, Bud Cort & (the late) Ruth Gordon!

  • One of the best opening title sequences I've ever seen. Almost 4 minutes in a single camera shot . Cat stevens. And that laugh of Harrold. Just the best.

  • I love this movie! Thanks for the post!

  • I love this.
