Remembering the Holocaust victims - Kaddish prayer by Ofra Haza

The pictures included in this video aren't exactly entertaining, but we can't forget them nor can we go on claim that they don't exist. We have to remember the most painful past so that we can have a future. This video isn't here to incriminate anyone or to advocate for anyone's cause. No, this video is here to remind us that even though we are born as pure as angels, our spirits - if corrupted - can still behave as no devil can. We are all the time in the middle of a dilemma and we have to choose between good and evil cause we are capable of either great goodness or unspeakable destruction.
Nowadays, as we all pay respect to the extremely painful memory of the holocaust with the voice of an angel "Ofra Haza singing the Kaddish Prayer for all the victims", We must always remember that we are in front of the same point of choice in the middle east with the same capabilities.
We can't go on like this. We must honor the souls of our victims, these millions of Jews, Polish, Hungarians, Romanians and physically challenged victims and all other victims of other genocides and wars allover time and place. We have to start learning how to love so that our children can have a world to share in the future

Ok, falls ich dich missverstanden habe, tut mir das Leid, ernsthaft :)

Gut mal im Ernst jetzt: Ich fand deinen ersten Kommentar einfach ziemlich unpassend (milde gesagt) im Bezug auf den Massenmord an den europäischen Juden und hab mich da wahrscheinlich etwas hochgeschaukelt. Mein erster Kommentar war auch sehr persönlich, tut mir auch Leid, ich war nur wie gesagt, erschüttert so einen Kommentar zu so einem Video zu sehen.

It felt as if my heart were being torn out when I saw the image of the father holding his child at the beginning when they were about to be shot. I just cant imagine what must have been going through that father's mind. Heartrending. May they found peace away from a terror no man woman or child should ever have to bear then or ever again. Excellent moving tribute. Every time I see photos from the Holocaust, my anger boils. It is why I feel strongly that all Jews must support a philosophy of "Never Again". Sadly the naiveté of many puts increased danger on Israel and Jews throughout the world.

As for Ofra, as always her voice is Incomparable !

Kaddish is a very sad song, and your images do the tragic beauty of the song plenty of justice. Thank you for this touching tribute to the six million and also, in a way, to Ofra.
