  • Whatever happened with your court case? The results never got posted. Did you win or lose> Status with neighbor? Fines? Lights have to be removed or taken down? Curious!

    Thanks and great job!!

PS: What were the materials used and cost for all lights? How much hours to assemble and program from start to end?

  • Case was dismissed provided the hours of the show were limited from 5:30-10 and 6-9 Friday-Sunday. Also, can't start before Dec1 and must be off by Dec 26. I honestly couldn't even guess what the materials cost. I buy all my lights on sale at the end of the year unless I break something and need it sooner. I have 6 16 channel dimmers at around $200 each built from kits - cost is higher if they are assembled. There's easily over $1000 in extension cords alone - I stopped counting! Thanks!

  • Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I got a call from TLC last week so you might see us on TV this winter. We are building a new house (out in the country a little ways) so neighbors shouldn't be a problem. We hope the house is done in time. If not, we'll probably do it there anyway if the exterior is done. Also, we're having a baby in about a month so we will have our hands full.

  • Sorry to hear that you neighbor is indeed the real Grinch. My family went to see the light show many many times and not once did we see any traffic jams or hear any loud music. We want to let you know that we would be more than willing to attend court with you or at the very least start a petition on your behalf.

  • Thanks. Court is at 8:45 on Thursday 2/19 at Miami Municipal Court (Civic Center).

  • very great job to all of you thanks for posting it!!!

  • I saw this one tonight but this years was better! It is the coolest thing to c in real life. They did a good job

  • When are you going to put up this years display??? I love it.... i go by and watch it 2 or 3 times a week with different people and they love it!!!!

  • Everyone that enjoyed that light show needs to be in court on the 19th. We all need to be heard and not let Kirk be the only voice in there. They need to know how much we loved it and we want to see it again this year. I know i'll be there.

  • I will be seeing how many people i can round up for that date and time. I think this is horrible what this man is doing to you and your family. God Bless!
