@TruthatCearcie actually quite frankly it is possible. They cannot shut down YouTube but by blocking internet from accessing the website by blocking its ip in the DNS (domain name system) via the ISP (internet service provider) then yes they could "kill" YouTube or practically do so by making it invisible and inaccessible in the US.
