I finally turned on the recording devices and played Leo Kottke's rumbling 12-string piece entitled "Times Twelve". I have been working on this tune for a while now and have decided it's time to record and share it as is. If I were to publically play the role of self critic, I would have to say it's a little weak and disconnected in a few spots, buy hey, it's in the polishing stages and improvements will undoubtably happen after a gazillion more repetitions. It officially moves into my repertoire today. On many other occasions, I have played it much better when the camera isn't pointed at me. Isn't that what we all say?
Overall I like it and I think it actually sounds like music. Enjoy, or maybe not.
Chris

Yeah, I think your disclaimers about disconnectedness and such are totally unneccesary. Great phrasing, great tone, and a pleasure to watch. Thanks for uploading!

Congrats on a milestone. This is indeed very impressive playing, Chris. I don't hear any disconnect at all; it really seems to flow from your fingers. It is encouraging that mere mortals can conquere a piece like that. Well done!
