FREE (Patriotic Song for Canada)

It was 'freedom' ... Freedom, to be a single mother who could be an artist .... Free to Be who she was created to Be" and realized that all her friends and loved ones were "free to be who they were created to be". And so, this wonderful song was inspired.

Patricia had written anthems before: World Wildlife Fund's 25th Anniversary song as well as the International Earth Day song, were among a few. Now, to write this anthem was easy as it was so obviously meaningful to her.

The wonderful NY producer/ performer, Ed Terry, who had been lead in Patricia's rock musical, "SOULMATES", and had worked with everyone from Madonna to David Bowie, Duran Duran, Grace Jones, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston (to name a few) produced & engineered the work and then Michael Plante, a young new Toronto producer/engineer, who worked with Fantasia and Drake, recorded vocals & added a few modern effects.

Another note: Patricia thanks God for Blessings us with Canada, Freedom and the beauty here, and requests that we help her 'sing' God back into Canada. Her version of FREE (Patriotic song for America) is also viewable on itunes.
