Samsung SDI Co. Ltd. of South Korea developed an ultrathin AMOELD panel with a thickness of 0.25 mm with thin film encapsulation

The 4-inch ultrathin OLED prototype panel features a resolution of 480 x 272. The panel can be bent thanks to its slimness, and it was exhibited in a curved condition at Samsung's booth.

  • @demhaitam Shut the fuck up

  • STOP COPPY SONY U STUPIDE KOREAN

  • @Anothercoilgun Probably in weapons of mass destruction

  • @BoxRoomStudio The screen isn't fixed in that bent position permanantly. this screen can or will be able to bend, roll up like a newspaper, and conform to nonflat surface shapes (think of the applications) whilst displaying images or videos. You can't tell because the screen is in a plasitic housing but it is really really thin.. something like a laminated piece of thick cardboard paper.

  • ok we spent years developing flat panel displays, and now you give me a display thats about as bent as your average 70's CRT. that sucks

  • @Anothercoilgun there never was one...

  • 20.000 hours lifetime? Thats enough for only 2 years of porn

  • USA only leads in Military tech

  • @reptilezsweden i agree

  • @Anothercoilgun The problem is that Americans don't want to WORK to be the best. They just want to BE the best.
