Me and Peanuts 7-2-08

Hi! ☺. This is a video of me and Peanuts jumping and doing (some) flat work. we i had brought him over to my house so it wasnt in an enclosed arena or anything like that. He was hyper and i was Hot lol. My eq here was pretty bad. i shall see if i can put the other video up of e and peanuts just doing flatwork. we were pretty good there lol. I have no excuse for my Eq. being so bad. Which every rider should admit! lol. hopefully i am getting better though lol.

p.s. please don't comment on Peanuts form over the fences,
1. i had not prepared him well before the fences ( my fault).
2. he was hyper and had never been introduced to these jumps.

I understand the bad EQ when it comes to riding. I have a bad lower back and I tend to hunch my back a little also. When I REALLY think about my form I am fine, but when I am just enjoying myself. I tend to do the same. Don't be so hard on yourself. No one is perfect.

haha thankyou!! yeah my eq usually isnt like this. i usually have a very strong back but oh well haha. like you said i was just enjoying myself!! haha

bahaha thankyou soo much! im so glad we moved there. we had to buy the extra 2 acres but it was worth it!.....thanks so much....i just meant that we could be soo much better...whenever a camera isnt on us we r better haha.lol..thankyou soo much!!!Peanuts will be so happy when i tell him what u said lol

Hiya, I was wandering if you are in the UK? Only reaon I ask is I used to own a pony called Peanuts. I was 13 and he was same age (I think) I am now 28! He was 13.2 and lovely natured. Really good jumper :) I am trying to track him down to see if he is happy. x

i though you looked amazing but when you jump i think you should roll you shoulders back more and arch your back a bit more cause you look a bit hunched and maybe move your hands up the neck a bit more but its not my horse and im not you so you can ride how you want and you did say it was a bad eq. day everyones had one otherwse i though you did good
