@AirplaneRadio My suggestion is to start out with a simple hip hop beat in fl, then add a sample and then some bass, synth, etc. That's how I started out and then I watched a few tutorials on how to do other things.

@btapbeats Ha. See I build around the samples (my main instruments) instead of the beats I make on FL. What I don't really care for are the sounds themselves already on FB. Once I get Reason I think I'm going to start importing different "micro-samples" to make beats with instead of what they are giving me. Forgive my strange philosophy but I have no intention to dooriginal things like bass and synth but find samples I can manipulate to do that for me. This is at least my approach right now,

Wow, I really enjoyed that Candy beat, and once you get fl studio you can do all kinds of cool things to that intro part. I'm gonna make a soundcloud account soon, once i get the time to make a few decent beats. #swag

@btapbeats Awesome on the SC decision. I already do have FL and have made several beats (Although I found it unnecessary to use here.) I had a lot of plans with the intro part but like I said, the damn ACID program is unbearable to use now. So this is me just posting the idea and moving on to something else since I can't really do much more with it without inciting violence.

@AirplaneRadio Mmmm I see. I actually use samples that are right here on youtube. Theres actually a ton of old soul songs and things if you wanna check that out
