PLEASE READ:
Yes, this pony is trained to rear, no he shouldn't be allowed to do it. My mom doesn't want him to rear, so when HE does it, he gets popped on side of the neck, this is the only time I WANT him to do it and strictly so I can have it on video!
It was my first time riding him bareback and only cause I got bored of watching my cousins, so I hoped on. He's a good pony, with LOTS of energy :) when I ask him to stand in place, he'll bobble around on his feet and yes, he'll rear as well... thats when he gets popped and yelled at, so he learns not do it unless on command.
I'm currently training him for barrels/poles because of his hyperness. I'm pretty sure he already knows the patterns in 2 days, he just needs to work on his turning. He IS up for adoption at www.rarescue.com NOT a beginners horse though. I measured and he's 13.0-13.1hh tall.

  • @Gaelmadgirl Their choice. They know the risks. I sometimes don't wear a helmet, and yeah, I have a friend whose life was saved by her helmet. I know that it's wise, but I still don't wear one all the time. Because, by my own admission, I'm an idiot. It's a matter of choice, and to some people tradition really does matter. I have plenty of traditions, where I live, and I wouldn't want to break any of them.

  • looks soooo funn!!

  • Nice! :D

  • amen to not wearing helmets

  • @snowyriverlass sorry i kinda have to disagree, so what if it is tradition? just cos its tradition dosent mean its right. look at the rider here, ok the horse reared fine, she did a great job training her horse to do so but what if something had gone wrong? what if the horse had fallen over backwards and she had hit her head, or worse, the horse had kicked or fallen on her head leading to severe brain dammage, leading to a person being in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives?! just sayin

  • thats amazing:)

  • Impressive just try to and get him to rear straight without flipping around his head to much you'll have a better seat

  • Awwwww :) he is so cute! What's his nameee?

  • he looks fun to ride :)

  • Guys stop being so mean she makes him rear because she wants to and it doesnt matter if she wears a helmet
