thanks for the reply. lot of concert footage has the sound all distorted. what makes the camera that you used able to capture such clear sound of the music only and not the fan noise???

It records in 720p HD and sony makes great digital cameras that take nice video/audio. I've owned 3 Sony Cybershot cameras. They just keep getting better with every release.

Thanks! I used a Sony T900. It's one of the best point and shoot digital cameras out now.
