Do you have to use a BEC with a 3s lipo? i read on a form somewhere that it was required?

What setting on the hotwire set up allows for a lower speed? Right now when i lightly touch my throttle it goes fairly fast.

Did you water proof the motor at all? How does it hold up in deep mud and water?
