@florinj87 Actually until the later half of the Byzantine Empire Macedonia was almost entirely ethnically Greek. Blonde hair only became common after centuries of Slavic and Germanic migration before which the region. The only real difference between the Macedonian Kingdom and most Greek City states was that Macedonia had land that made a large area ruled by the same nation possible, Greece was not the way it was because of cultural beliefs but because Greece is an incredibly mountainous country

@Imhornydadcomeinside same culture yes. same people no. macedonians =/= greeks. firstly there were almost no bond greeks. yet blond hair was very common in macedon, that show that macedonians were a different people genetically. then you have to look at social organization. the greeks were organized in city states, each ruling themselves. the macedonians were ruled by a single king. this custom stayed even after macedonian culture was supplanted with greek culture.

@Imhornydadcomeinside yes sure of course coz this is the right think but i meant that in the game there is macedon as faction and the indepedent other GREEK cities macedon is not playable though so thats why it has alexander the great with greek cities
