  • @KillaRock881 Apparently they weren't mandatory back then.

  • oh my goodness!! where are their visors???

  • at the 2:35 mark that is #18 Buwalda with Probert on the ice just feeding him. Those 2 fought 3 times at the Hamilton training camp before probert was traded to the Soo!

  • @mikeyt62 the year was 85 one could argue the best team never to win the mem cup as that was the year the soo set the ohl record for most home ice wins in a season with 33... it was a 66 game 33-0 at home 21-11-1 on the road

  • Whatta gem....i played in the good Old Mountain Arena about 2 hours after this donnybrook. Probie vs Dalgarno is an instant classic....too bad Dalgarno got his face caved in about 3 years later when he fought Joe Kocur. Kocur was tough as fuck....but Herbie Raglan of the Blues gave him a nice fucking tune up. It's on youtube.

  • This is from Global Televeisions game of the week from the 1984-85 season. Global did the game of the week from I beleive 1982-83 or 1983-84 up till the mid 1990's.

  • It really looked like the refs jumped in just as Probert was getting started, didn't really look like Probert had any extra weight on Dalgarno. But then again can never really tell with all of the equipment.

  • Kocur and Probert fought a few times, most times it was a draw. Cannot really say one is better than the other, don't really know if Kocur was the best pound for pound fight out there. Many TRUE fighter from the 60's and 70's would probably kill most of the fighters from the 80's, 90's, and definitely the 00's.

  • When was this? I didn't know that the OHL televised games.
