For Microsoft perspective the original Xbox was dead, there company is about looking to the future which in this case was the Xbox 360. pretty much there is more money to be made in the new console and games. Good thing is now there is halo 3, Reach and,soon to be Halo 4.

I don't think so. From what I heard, all servers for original XBox games are shut down. :(
