I think all the criticism is due to the lack of emotion in the voices. The tones are good, but the note changes sound vapid, processed, and, honestly, mundane. You just need to not try to sound so perfect and let the music flow through your body. Feel the emotion in Dallas Green's voice and try to deliver some of his deeper messages through the emotion in your voice.

Damn, not sure what all the hating and criticism is about. The greatest form of flattery for an artist is when someone else covers your song. Dallas himself will likely see this vid at some point (if he hasn't already) and say "that was a damn fine cover". Well done, you covered a lot of ground for just the two of you. Vocals were superb.
