I wanted to show the beautiful waves of fire that I get from hollowing agave. See my profesional agave didgeridoos for sale here:

  • nice, you using sand to snuff it?

  • I don't use sand (too messy).

It took me a while to figure out the right way to hollow my sticks, its my trade secret to hold ;)

  • I need to figure this out. I can't wait to hollow my agave stalk. That is very beautiful, like a fire vortex. Thanks for sharing!

  • Claramente se ve que se ahueco antes de quemarlo, y ademas las llamas se ven un poco azul, seña de que se escurrio alcohol atravez del tubo.

  • sharing is caring...but if you think its worth more to you than the rest of the world thats your choice I guess

  • Very nice effect indeed.

Just a question, do you burn it to hollow it all the way trough? or do you hollow it before burning?

I already tried with a hot iron, sharpen plastic tubes, etc... but so far the sandwich is the most practical process, but I'm searching for a reliable alternative to sandwich...

Can you reveal some more details in your hollowing process?

    Thanks and best regards

  • ohhhhh is that how you hollow agave?

i always thought it was split!
