    back in 1960 John was asked his inspiration for the name, "The Beatles" he replied:

    "I had a vision, that a man on a flaming pie, told me 'From this day on, you are Beatles, with an 'A'"

    Yoko said in his defense:

    "If it's ok for Paul to dream of 'Yesterday' then its okay for John to have a vision"

    Paul had the last laugh; naming his 1997 album Flaming Pie
