I know I MAY GET Trashed for this but I LOVED Moore and THought Dalton was a GREAT replacement for him. BUT I also think he was HORRIBLY underrated(Dalton) simply cause his two bonds where so different. I always wished he had done 3. ALSO I think Dalton is almost a prototype for Craigs Bond.

i like this movie because of Daltons attitude and probably my best bit is when he is running on the roof tops

Good point. It would be interesting to see what would have happened if Moore hadn't stayed for so long.

Good Bond film. Although, it's awkward now watching the scenes with Kamran Shah, who is clearly based on Osama bin Laden. The joke at the end about Shah and his men having trouble getting through airport security b/c of their weapons is especially uncomfortable.

Dalton should have debuted in 1981 with For Your Eyes Only, TLD, despite being good, arrived too litte-too late

@spottyelvis Untrue. He only auditioned but was rejected. Producer Albert Broccoli wanted Dalton to play Bond dating all the way back to when Connery left and they needed to find a replacement for On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Dalton repeated turn him down as he felt he couldn't follow Connery and was too young. He twas approached a few more times in the future until he finally said yes when Brosnan couldn't get out of his Remington Steele contract.

They used music from Live and Let Die in the background. Still one of my favorite films in the series especially after A View to a Kill, ugh.

I like how they managed to squeeze out a trailer for the movie based on the first 7 minutes of the movie.

But why did they dub over the woman's voice and re-dub how Dalton said his line in the movie?

I wonder why they use the George Martin score from Live and let die instead of this movie's score.
