Suffolk County Community College: "Blind Walk"

At Long Island's Suffolk County Community College, students in Rob Goldman's class, Developing Creative Imagination in the Arts, created the following 'happening', experimenting with the idea of transforming everyday experiences into artful ones. Students were asked to create an experience that would foster learning something about themselves by walking from one campus building to another. They decided to walk with their eyes closed, guided by a partner whose eyes were open, ideally in complete silence.
