Yes, I know this. I'm not sure how it died, It was Q1 2008 and it was kinda cold but I don't know if this was the cause.

Hmm...have u any idea how it died?
cause sometimes with quail if u get them mixed up and put 2 boys in the cage they will kill each other...
especially if theirs another female in the cage as well

Mine is male, I check every week at the pet store from where I bought him. I bought a couple but the female died :(

get a male or female for him/her and they will breed no troubles at all

What a strange noise! I wanted to get a quail - and I was really close to buying one at a flea market... but they're so stinky!

Mine doesn't smell so it had to be a quail in a dirty cage.
