This promotional film was made for BOAC in 1963 and shows the preparation and flight of a BOAC Boeing 707. It also contains some great shots of the BOAC VC-10, together with Heathrow, Kai Tak, and New York airports in the early 1960s.

"BOAC Jet service" Interesting words. In those days jet-powered airliners must still have been a bit of a novelty.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, smoke if you wish... The stewardesses will serve you with cigarettes." Goodness, how air-travel has changed since those days! Nowadays if you're caught smoking on a plane they ask you to leave... from cruising altitude!
