Dude this guy is like paul bunyon, jesus and the jolly green giant had sex with mr t and Chuck Norris. His rage is formidable! The way he he attacks the instrument like a wounded possum makes me want to power blast a toddler into outer space! Oh dear god the poly rhythms!!! I was waiting for a Balroc to come storming in the back and eat all the unsuspecting contertgoers for not rage fighting eachother during this entire performance. This is what the people in Paris saw on opening night!

Watch "Stravinsky - Le Sacre du Printemps For Piano - Fazil Say" (the first 8 minutes are avilable on youtube). Say's version is superb!!!!

i bet his fingers hurt so bad afterwards.

super-human! I once heard him live play Schubert and Liszt, we were literally speechless for at least 10 minutes after the end, the standing ovation was the loudest, it was like something out of the movie "Alien"

I still cannot believe this man. He's beyond anyone I've ever seen in my life and he now goes and does this totally mad performance of what might be the best piece of music ever created!!! I'm still trying to get it into my head that he's real!

That was something else. The Sacrificial Dance is not an easy piece for four hands, let alone twol That was as good a perfomance with 2 as I have heard for 4. So overall, I am converted. Signore Rivera really does deserve applause for the premier for what was thought impossible. Yet this is the most important piece in 20th century music - if not ALL music. Why does no one else play it?
Well Done Daniel Rivera

Bravo!!!! genial memor que muchas orquestas ...
I just got done watching all four of these and these four videos on YouTube have forever changed my life. I am still trying to come to grips with what I just heard and saw. Rivera, truly that was the most splendid performance and adaptation to one of the most pivotal pieces of the 20th century. That was also one of the most impressive exhibition of technical prowess I've ever scene. I can't say enough good things about this...

Freaking yes! Awesome.
A performance of Rite of Spring for solo piano should leave the piano going "what did i do to deserve this?!"
way to show the piano who's boss. blah. amazing. fantastic.
