Plagal of 1st tone:
It is Truly Meet to call Thee Blest, the Ever Blessed and all Immaculate and Mother of Our God. More Honorable than the Cherubim and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim. Thee who without corruption gavest birth to God the Word the Very Theotokos, Thee do we Magnify.

This is not heptaphonic. It is plagal of 1st tone ek tou ZO ifesi (in B Flat).

Hearing this chanted in Greek at St. Anthony's monastery in Arizona was ANGELIC and TRANSCENDENT. The union of hearts in the nave as the candle is brought before the Theotokos' icon is simply beyond description in beauty and spiritual power. Hearing this version recalls those memories very powerfully for me :)

Επειδή υπάρχει μια διαφωνία στο τι είναι. Είναι πλ.α. Απλά είναι γραμμένο σε μια παραλλαγμένη κλίμακα του πλ.α που ονομάζεται φρύγιος και για όσους γνωρίζουν θέλει τον ζω και τον βου με ύφεση. ( ο ζω επειδή δέχεται την φθορά και ο βου με έλξη.) Στην ευρωπαική μουσική ο φρύγιος μεταφράζεται ως μια κλίμακα μόνο με ημιτόνια που ξεκινάει απο το μι μέχρι το μι μια οκτάβα πιο πάνω και απλά δεν έχει τόνους μέσα! Είναι αρχαίος ελληνικός τρόπος!
