  • Have you anymore footage with Don?

  • I'm afraid not. Sorry. I'd love to see the whole concert myself someday.

  • I think she just talked about Phil, but he wasn't at the concert, so they chose to show Don. Or something like that. Oh well...

  • I got a free invite to this show and it was amazing. To see such a tribute to Buddy was wonderful and for me ( a total Everly nut) to see Don get a 5 minute standing ovation from those lovely Buddy fans was something I shall remember always

  • Just come across this video.

I was actually at the concert having won 2 tickets in a competition in the Melody Maker. My wife and I were in the second row from the front! What a fantastic night.

The memory of it all will live with me forever.

  • Yup, Denny is really stoned here. Really stoned....

  • dennys been smokin pauls pipe..:D:D

  • Pau owns the rights to Buddy Holly's music, but unlike other owners, he doesnt abuse it by having it used in commercials o, and he makes sure the music lives on by playing it and re-realeasing it when technology improves the sound quality and DVDs and stuff. Paul gets royalties for Buddy's music but, he makes sure Buddy's estate gets their fair share and helps preserve everything Paul is fair. He knows what its like to have music owned by someone else since M.Jackson owned his Beatles music

  • @acoronab Laine sang in the Moody Blues, and later joined Paul McCartney's band Wings, co-writing and singing a few songs with Paul such as the best selling single ever 'Mull of Kintyre"

  • there is a DVD I believe, so in theory you can watch the whole show

  • @acoronab He was the former (and original) lead singer for the Moody Blues. Check out "Go Now" by the M.B.s. he sings lead and that was the groups first big hit.

  • Paul, your heart is in the right place.

  • I didn't know Denny Lanes voice was so nice
