This protest at the Israeli Consulate in NYC was taken Friday after sunset, protesting the Gaza seige.

Earlier on in the day, this group held a protest at the Egyptian Consulate before making their way to the Israeli Consulate.

As you can see, the Neturei Karta were violating the Sabbath by particpating in a secular political protest well after sunset.

You can clearly see and hear them chanting "Judaism yes, Zionism no, the state of Israel must go"

  • And the guy who filmed that isn't a Jew? Cause if he is, he was violating the Shabbath too

  • You are correct. I happen to be Christian.

  • @Hirschian carrying the signs would be a violation...one is not allowed to carry in a public area

it is definitely not in the spirit of the sabbath

  • @NeveShalomCancun LIAR LIAR LIAR in order to do Eruv you must have a GOOD reason. Going to a protest and supporting Terrorists is not a good reason nor is it an emergency to break Shabbat. They are carrying things in public while they should be praying on Shabbat at Friday sunset for the evening service. Important things that are allowed to be carried on Shabbat include medicine, keys, tissues, babies, not Signs.

  • the Torah states it can neither be added to or subtracted from ... explain the Talmud ... Joooow! special place in hell . judgement is waiting !!!!

  • same old argument . different Understanding . you cant arive hear from there. you cant change the past . Bad Greedy . Evil zionest traitior .ZOG (Live In your world .( Careful .

  • @Renagadepatriot Sorry, but your shallow perusal of the Talmud will not turn a body of literature that has always been an encouragement to the Jews into their end. Wishful thinking on your part. You clearly know nothing of the Talmud's history. It has been opposed since its inception, but still it exists.

  • @NeveShalomCancun Where did they carry the posters from? Why are they spending Shabbat with a miso-Judaic wench on a bullhorn rather than with their families? So many questions served up by this questionable behavior. Neturei Karta...token Rabbis for neo-Nazis.

  • @NeveShalomCancun Eruv has to do with the Sabbath walking distance. He is referring to how they are spending Shabbat doing this when they could do it on any other day of the week. They have left the Sabbath Bride at home to be hosted by their wives while they rub shoulders with Torah-ignorant non-Jews.

  • @tmdrdd Good eye. You must be more studious than your peers.

  • @magnumartify The guy is right. No religious Jew is going to be holding signs on Shabbat when he can do it on other days of the week. This demonstrates that not Judaism, but being enemies of the Jewish People is their real agenda. I doubt whether half of them are even Jewish, now.

  • ERUV ERUV ERUV ERUV they are not braking the Shabat if they have done ERUV!

  • Has anybody found out that they can be carring posters with an Eruv! maybe they are not breaking Shabat
