@rozennightshade I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who recognize them. I know Pharaoh's music by heart, so it has been difficult for me to enjoy this song on it's own. Still, it's ok, I guess

This sounds like a mix of Dawn (Swe) with folk elements incorperated... i'm impressed!!!

Whenever I listen to Darkestrah, I picture Temur and the warlords of Samarkand riding across the steppes to conquer yet another barbarian city. (even though Samarkand is now in Uzbekistan, Temur's territory included much of Kyrgyzstan)

@SancharKhan IMO, lyrical themes alone cannot dictate the genre classification of any band. If you let lyrical themes alone decide a band's genre then every band is just a massive mish-mash of genres. And it's VERY clear that Megadeth's Five Magics is not a folk-metal song despite heavily revolving around a fantasy/sci-fi driven lyrical framework.

@PhilKay You talking about their lyrics... So can i ask a question about Sky Tengri? Do you know him? It's Turkic only and Sky god... And this band's all songs are about that Turkic mythologies, Turkish Bravery and history. Could you say me what are these if they are not folk metal? I don't fucking care about what metal-archieves explain them. I even don't look at it. But this is it. I'm a huge folk metal fan and Turkish. And this band is a Turkic band. So I'm interesting it.
Crappy vocals :/
