I am hoping to become cabin crew as an Irish passport holder currently living in Manchester since 2002 - I do worry about getting security clearance if flying to the US if I was successful at Virgin - apart from anything else, my language skills would include Irish Gaelic & I am currently taking up a First Aid course, as well as swimming, getting my teeth done - I am a 39 years old out Irish gay male who has been in retail 20+ years but looking for a complete career change, too old to be a pilot

@kcbond if you are based at Heathrow or Gatwick is it easy to get a positioning flight from Manchester to these bases??
-
i think your uniform, is the most striking of any airline, of the girls i have seen in it you look so smart,
-
i have a fetish for airhostesses, but my favorite uniform to see one in is virgin its wicked,

Very well done! Short and sweet. I like :)
a few questions:
1: Do you choose which class you work in example economy?
2: Will you work with your group on the aircraft once graduated?
3: Do you get to make announcements (y'know!)??
thats really all! haha im looking forward to it!!

New crew work in Economy or Premium. You fly with someone from your group on your first flight and sometimes after, but that's just luck of the draw. You can make announcements if you want to, but the official announcements are done by a supervisor.

New starters are based out of Gatwick and Heathrow. You're able to apply to move to Manchester base but there's a waiting list which can take from months to years depending how many crew they need up there.
